Stara is looking for out-of-the-box ideas on how to use their immense amount of data to innovate something new and usable in the smart city context. It could be many things, from device maintenance management to artificial intelligence based forecasting of the fill rate of waste bins or grass growth.
– We are attending Junction in the Big Data track with our challenge called StreetReboot 2. In Junction 2017 we focus on enhancing the city maintenance activities during the warm seasons (i.e. spring, summer and autumn), says Stara’s Unit Director Sami Aherva.
